The Single Joint Tree Screw–Eingelenkbaumschraube Restoration (March 2020)

Trench mount or The Single Joint Tree Screw–Eingelenkbaumschraube  what a long name if directly translated.

It is the standard item for the SF14 trench bino as well as other optics.

It was sold as a relic in affordable price.

Rusty but still robust, all parts was tightly locked together, after soaked by rust release for days, then hammered and heat did the job, the turning knob loosen and the tip part released.
It was then primed and Metolux applied at the tip.
Semi black applied to the rest of the body excepts the tip.
Its back to alive and back to supporting the heavy Scherenfernrohr.

(Later found this is the thickest in diameter when compare with other spikes and well fits the holes in the container)
