Map Board Update December 2023

The long delayed Map Board project is back to active now.

It was coursed by the unexpected deformed of four map boards in California.

But map boards sent to other parts of USA, UK and EU are still perfectly flat.

After discussed with the carpenter and consulted with experts seems to be the furniture grade Breech wood is not fits for outdoor use and in 7mm thickness.

Pine wood is the solution as my original map board was made of Pine wood and still in good shape since the war.

The Breech wood batch in my stock was under observation for months and still intact and fits to go.

According to order sequence the sets had been sent to new homes, together with special offers of KW27 sets and Artillery Range Rulers.

Excepts some are willing to waiting for Pine wood sets.
