All German optics has equipped with lighting devices for luminating its reticle. Some carrying a Head Lamp box ‘Beleuchtungsgerät für Strichplatte’. And some carrying in its carrying cases or leather pouches. This sample is from its wooden carrying case with the following items: Twin socket with on/off switch. The RK31 could be mount on any tripod, in  this case mounted on the simplified Gestell 31. Together with the second Messkreis looking really nice.

This is my first period tripod, it is also marked as ‘Gestell 31’ by the seller. Can’t find any more information of its true name. Let me know if you knew the correct name.

This is the second time I mounted the SF14G on to the Gestell 31 for group photos. Together with the luminating system from the head lamp set (Strinlampe). Here is the typical textbook example. .
